After training at the Boulle school, Isabelle Heilmann founded épicène in 2018. Joined by Stéphanie Gilbert in 2023, the agency designs public and residential living spaces.

 

The spirit of the place and the purpose of the project are the starting points of a research project which aims to create harmonious, luminous and relevant spaces.

 

Beneath an apparent simplicity, épicène constructs a decor, evokes an atmosphere, dreams of an interior where the minimalism of forms rubs shoulders with more assertive choices in the use of color, the combinations of materials or the choice of designer pieces with a strong personality.

 

As in grammar, where the épicène word is freed from gender, the agency considers each project without preconceptions, in a totally tailor-made approach, to support its clients in the materialization of their vision.
