An interior poised between inside and out
Blending Japanese restraint with mid-century modernism, this 35 sqm garden-level apartment becomes both a place to live and a space for reflection — part pied-à-terre, part consultation studio.
The design revolves around the notion of threshold — a transitional space between interior and exterior — embodied by light oak volumes that frame the garden views. Travertine paving, glazed lava stone, and raku ceramics lend the space its artisanal spirit. Graphic modernist furniture introduces a deliberate counterpoint, offering a subtle, expressive balance to this composed yet lived-in interior.
A renovation carried out in partnership with Archik.
